  13. Code.Print now figures out what the source file extension (FRM or
  14. BAS) is for the file being printed and prints that rather than the
  15. file name with the TXT extension.

  17. Registered users of Code.Print can select to have program options 
  18. loaded at start up rather than when Current Options or Startup 
  19. Configuration are selected.  This causes the program to use more
  20. memory but makes changing options much faster.  Users who use font
  21. managers will notice a significant improvement in options load speed.

  28. INSTALLATION
  29.  
  30. You can copy Code.Print to any subdirectory.  If you don't
  31. reference the subdirectory in the File Preferences dialog box
  32. directly, have a path to it.
  33.  
  34. You will have to create your own program item (and group if you
  35. wish).  The executable file is CPVB.EXE.
  36.  
  37. Code.Print for Visual Basic requires the Visual Basic runtime DLL,
  38. VBRUN100.DLL or later version.  Be sure it is in a subdirectory
  39. that is in the system path.

  42. RUNNING Code.Print for Visual Basic
  43.  
  44. Code.Print for Visual Basic creates a file CPVB.INI to store
  45. configuration information.  If you are installing Code.Print for
  46. Visual Basic onto a network drive, be sure the directory where it
  47. is placed has user write rights.

  49. Code.Print for Visual Basic does not have the capability to print
  50. source code directly from .FRM or .BAS files.  To create source
  51. code files that are readable by Code.Print for Visual Basic, use
  52. the CODE SAVE TEXT command in the Visual Basic design menu.

  57. Code.Print for Visual Basic is an easy to use program.  All of the
  58. functions contained in Code.Print for Visual Basic are documented
  59. in the on-line help system.  There is no user manual.

  62. LICENSE AND REGISTRATION

  64. License and registration information are available from the help
  65. menu in the main program window and the Non-registered user window
  66. menu.  You can browse and print license information and an order
  67. form from these menus.

  69. Note About Credit Card Orders:

  71. Our bank just notified us that we can't accept mail and phone
  72. credit card orders.  Apparently those orders are outside the terms
  73. of our merchant account agreement.  Until we get this situation
  74. changed, we can only accept checks, money orders, and PO's.  Sorry
  75. about the inconvenience.

  78. PRINTERS, FONTS, DRIVERS, ETC...
  79.  
  80. Code.Print for Visual Basic is designed to use the printer fonts and 
  81. drivers that are available in your current Windows environment.  
  82. Printing speed will depend on what fonts and drivers you are using.  
  83. If you are printing with a laser printer, internal fonts like 
  84. Lineprinter are faster than soft fonts.  It is best to experiment.  
  85. Some fonts really take a long time.  Code.Print will display a message 
  86. "Waiting for Printer..." while the printer driver is processing page 
  87. and font data.  Since processing has been passed from the program to 
  88. your printer driver, Code.Print will not respond immediately to a 
  89. cancelation request while the "Waiting for Printer..." message is 
  90. displayed.
